Default power window problems

Can anyone please tell me how to remove the power window motor without
removing the regulator and all the other hardware. I assume grinding off the rivets while in the door is a must. Any tech tips would be
appreciated.

thanks in advance!

it aint' easy... sorry, but I am pretty sure the regulator will have to come out.

I took mine out, mainly, cause you can't reach the last rivet.

Tape the window into place using duct tape. That will hold it up.

Use a sharpie to mark the regulator to the glass, and the regulator to the door. This will give you reference points on where to put it back.

otherwise, remove regulator and replace.

I suggest using thin headed bolts (carriage, maybe) and nuts to refix the motor.

na... get some mechanics gloves.

the bolts for the regulator are outside - 2 at the top, 2 more at the bottom of the door. The inside bolts are reachable with an extension.
