Default cluster problem

I have an 88 and the right side of the cluster is all on. Like when you first start up. Any help will be welcomed! Thanks

What do you mean "all on", like the left side is not lit??

If the left side LCD displays are working but dark, you have two (on the left side) of the four lamps in the cluster that are burned out. If you remove the dash face plate you can gain access to the lamps and replace them.

Are you talking about the cluster or the "tell tale" panel on right side??

The dash is supposed to go through a self test in which each of the LCDs turn off revealing the colored bars behind them. Are you saying that your tachometer section is constantly all lit up? If this is true it sounds like your LCD pane could possibly be dead or needing to be reseated.

Yes the panel is all lit up as if its in test mode this has happened twice in a year. How do I reseat it? The MPH side is fine. Since this post it went back to normal but I need to fix.
