Replacing engine, should I lay in headers first??
I'm about to the point where I drop the engine back into the car. I am installing TPiS headers and was wondering weather I should set the headers in place and perhaps tie them to the inside fender wells, before setting the engine in. Or is it not worth the trouble?
Is there any other time/effort saving tips on things-to-do prior to installing the engine??

There's no reason to. I've either test fitted or installed four brands of headers on my C4. They all slipped up into place very easily. You will need to leave the plugs and the temp. gauge sending unit out until they are in place. The four brands were Stainless Works, Hedmans, EMs and DRMs.
