I decided to go with drag radials and vigilante torque converter for my next round of mods. With 305 RWHP and the mods below in my signature, what stall speed should I order?
Also should I expect much improvement over 1.88 and 1.91 60' times. Those times were with brand new 315 Eagle F/1's
I don't know where you are ordering it from, but if you order it straight from precision industries they will pick out the stall speed based on your heads, cam, intake, gears, headers among others to work best for you setup, good luck and happy motoring.

Yes , Jack will pickout a converter and in most cases it will not stall high enough. His standards are on the safe side for driving on the street in my opinion to safe.
Well the last vigalante I ordered was for my t/a and it wasn't jack doing the selection but some lady and we settled on a 3300 stall. They at first wanted 3100 but I wanted 3500 so we split the difference and I love it. This is for a miniramed 383.

I have a 2800 on my '93 and it is great. Not bad on the street and gets me 12.5 in the 1/4 with 3.45 gears and my LT1 is stock.
I bought a 2800 Vig because of Mojos success. Thanks Mojo. I drive it 7 days a week and I love it. I do have 3.73s though. It drives like the stocker until you slap the loud pedal then the RPMs go immediately to 2800 and clime from there. It is a blast.

I've had my 2800 in for about a week now and the first day it was weird but after that it seems perfect!
Oh yeah, if you order from Tbyrne Motorsports online you get a discount for online ordering and with shipping it came to $697 or something? They had the best price when I ordered mine a month ago.
I'm not trying to rain on your parade but I don't see a Dana 44 listed in your mods...with sticky drag radials your Dana 36 may have a short life expectancy...just my .02...good luck

Thanks for the advice guys and the warning. I was already concerned about the weak link. I am ordering the 2,800 stall tomorrow, but I may stick with new street tires instead of the drag radials.
What should I have to pay for the install of the vigilante?
When precision tells you that it is a 4-5 day wait for them get it out send them a laugh from me. I ordered mine 2 weeks ago Monday was told 4-5 days to make it and I was informed by them today that it shipped yesterday. Yesterday would be 10 working days. If I don't have it by Friday I WILL tell them to keep it.
Like the otheer thread said call them and let them make the choice.
Be honest and you should be happy.
I have had mine for over 2 years.
No one has a 2 year warranty ,the inital order is a little slow,I agree there.
I have blown 200 shot through it.
I love it.
