My dad has a 92' six-speed vette and has been having problems with it losing hyd. fluid....to the point the clutch gets too low and car wont start...does this ring a bell for anyone? We're putting it up and are wondering best ways to bleed ...check clutch assembly...etc.
I documented the way I bled my system a couple of weeks ago.
It looks like you have something leaking (master, slave, hose or combination thereof). You will need to find out were the leak is coming from and replace whatever might be required before spending your time bleeding the system.
The leak has to be in the master, slave, or hose between them. Look for fresh fluid. Remember that the master can leak at the rear and the fluid can go into the interior, so pull the carpet back and check carefully.
