Hi all,
A question if I may. Started my vette yesterday to try my new scanner, cars idling away nicely and I was able to scan the car. Didnt note down the readings but from memory some of the info was not good. i.e TPS voltage 0, Iac count 0, Timing 0.3 degres, Coolant temp stayed at 127.4 all the time. Vehcile speed 5 mph. I switched off the motor to have a think about the readings and tried to restart it a couple of mins later, car now refuses to start! The scanner now displays Vehicle is not responding, and I have no check engine light all. Also if I jump the ALDL I cannot get a code 12 or anything at all come to that.
So would I be right in thinking that the ECM has picked this time in its life to quit?
Any suggestions would be much appreciated.

Make sure your security light isn't flashing. Had that happen to me and thought the ECM had gone bad but it was a Wire that had broke off the back of the ignition cylinder causing the VATS system to activate and prevent starting. Just a thought to check
