Default Yay or Nay?

should I disconnect my exaust at the cat(gutted)on my Iroc for drag racing this friday will it yield any gains. it would only about 20 minutes to disconnect it. would it be worth my time? I'm still running the stock exaust manifolds

With those stock loggers on the exhaust ports I don't think you will gain enough to make it worth while.

What exhaust system is behind the stock manifolds?

BTW, what year IROC; I have an '86 as my DD.

It's an 88 a4 L98 I have a magnaflow Muffler. It is also my DD

With the cat gutted, the gains will be VERY minimal, if any. Friday is "Street Legal" night. You SHOULDN'T be able to pass tech with an open exhaust.

I'm doing the Midnight this week. I'm thinking of doing the street legal series though. My cousin Greg Snarr is running his Chevelle in it
