I chaged the rear brake pads on my 92 and ever since the brakes are worst, the pedal feels mushy and doesnt brake as good as it used too. any ideas why. I used the best ceramic pads available. I touched nothing else, just swap the pads and put everything back. I only replaced the rear. do I have to replace the fronts too, I wouldnt think that would matter. thanks in advance.
#1 the rears do very little to start with. #2 if the pedal feels mushy you have air in the system. In order to install new pads, you had to push the pistons back into the calipers. Make sure the seals or not leaking.

I disagree. I recently adjusted the rear drums on my beater and the difference was like night and day. Even if the car didn't stop any better, the pedal felt much firmer
