Weren't those L98 cams? Or do they also make those grinds for the LT1?

The 211 cam was originally designed for the L98 engines but it works equally as well in the LT1. Its a good cam for a basically stock setup. LPE even uses that very same cam on their 383 LT1 builds as well. I had one in a car a long time ago, it has a very very slight hint of a cam, very good fuel economy, a noticable low and mid range gain to the cam as well. It will easily pass emissions.

Personally if it were me to go through all the trouble and or costs of installing a cam into a C4 I would do the HOT cam. Ported heads or not, the HOT cam will work well in your car.

FWIW, the 219 is sold as L98 and LT1. They supply a long pin to drive the LT1 timing chain/water pump, or a short one for the L98 timing gear.

i love it, but i also like being deceptive with the mods. if you havent done a stall converter I would do that first. the gains will be better than what any cam that can work with the stock stall will give you.
