new cam installed need help
Just finished with heads cam and intake install.LPE heads intake and 219 cam,shorty headers on my 94 LT1.I have not had the computer retuned yet,but car is idling badly around 600-625 and there is low vacuum and code 33 .Around 2000 rpm car starts to even out and run better and around 3000rpm is fine.Is this normal and just down to the computer needing a retune or have I missed something?help

Yup that was exactly the same happen on my car 93 with 219 cam and heads. I bump up the idle by adjusting the throttle body screw. It will run rich. After I got it tune, will be fine. But I was suggest to to leave it idle at 900rpm. Aftermarket should leave it idle at 625rpm it just simply to low.
