How do you guys think these head specs look for a 383 shortblock? These are tric flow twisted wedge heads with port work I believe.

64cc Chamber
180cc Intake
75cc exhaust
13 degree intake angle
23 degree exhaust
angled plug

BTW at the moment its either these or working over my stock d-ports.

those are better than the Dports for sure

However, i'd still go bigger with a 383. I dont know what your plans are though.

Go on ebay, get a set of Dart Iron Eagle 200 or 215cc heads.

they are 790.00 including shipping, and they are ready to bolt on w/ valves and springs.

ebay seller:
racepartsdirect

200cc:

215cc:

You'll make well over 500hp with a set of these heads, and the right cam/intake to go with it.

have fun beefing up your tranny!

Depending on the rest of the engine, I think those heads look great. I hope that intake valve angle is a typo.

RACE ON!!!

The heads will work great but will give up a little up top. depending on the cam selection and CR I would think 195's would work better and still provide a ton of low end
