The smaller diameter cap was great for the Superram fitment. Also required external blaster coil. im not sure of the one you are looking at. MSD tech rep told me none of their distributers would work on my car. Thus, adapters...

You can use the small diameter GM distributor that was used in the earlier F body TPI cars. MSD does make a billet replacement for this distributor. However you will need the adapter cables to plug into the distributor and you will have to remote mount a new ignition coil. All in all it is a fairly easy job to do, but you need to get the cables that connect to the new distributor module. There are two cables, one with a two pin male and the other is a four pin male.
hmm. what are the other options as far as brand that is billet or just as good where i dont have to mess with the coil part that will hook right up to my msd6a thats already in place.
no. but from all iv read its going to take some chip work. due to the new cam profile and how the map ( `90 model ) reads the newly created vacum pressures. which a stock ecm cant either compensate for or understand. so im going with the pcm for less guys. for $150 if it works its a small price. as for as the ignition project been wanting to do that. seems my factory dist makes to much noise. i already have a msd6a box with 8.5 wires and stock hei.
