750 rwhp for mid 9s @3400 lbs.

Its crazy how the need for more HP goes expodential as ETs drop.

I ran a chick in a 8.15 sec ride last weekend in the TOP Eliminator class - I went 10.3@135 - and she went 135MPH in the 1/8 mile chasing me down - you should see what that looks like when your getting chased down by something like that. Your going 135 and they fly past you like your standing still.

He should with the juice see some 9s if you can launch on the juice and plant the power- that is the tricky part when you start making LOTS of power - But that is a good problem.
Ski is exactly right... the faster you go, the more power it takes to go faster.
These are sealevel corrected numbers. It would probably run in the 9's at a good sealevel track, but realistically up here with our thin air (DA6000-8500+ft) I am hoping to run mid 10's.

Interesting ... what jet sizes and fuel pressure are you running? I would think you're running at least a walbro 340m pump or two, to reduce the pressure drop with the spray, you may even be able to run the 150 fuel jet with no lean out at 200 with a good pump. I assume you're running the cheater fuel too. The power shot solenoids that come with the plate I figure are pretty much maxed out.

How's the new rear feel under power? I appreciated the pics.

Hi Johnny, I am running a 80 nos jet and a 36 fuel jet with 54lbs fuel pressure. I am using a Lingenfelter/Bosch fuel pump. It's rated to 870 hp.

The power shot solenoids that come with the kit are rated to a 175 shot. The cheater solenoid is good to a 250 shot.

Oh... the new Ford 9" feels great. It just feels more solid than it ever has. I think it will take what ever I can dish out to it

Thanks Fubar, I am in the 9" project about $6000 doing all the work myself. I upgraded to the Strange ultra case, QA1's, Mark Williams MMC aluminum driveshaft, ect. It could have been done for less money, but I didn't want to cut any corners.

Wow Jim, those are just amazing numbers..........amazing. I'd love to see a vid off the line trying to hook up

I hope to get your little brother on a dyno when I get the tuning sorted out......... but it won't be anywhere close with my combo

Here is something interesting comparing my old dyno sheet with my new one. When I had my front 3" Y pipe going into a single 3" pipe and gutted cat and out to the 3" rear Y pipe, my peak torque was 5000 rpm, and after about 6200, the hp would start to really nose dive. Now I have replaced the 3" pipe between the Y pipes with a single 4" pipe, and it broadened the power band. Now my peak torque is 4500 instead of 5000rpm, and the top end hp stays flat from 6000 to 6500. I made a few changes, but I would suspect the exhaust was responsible for this. With the 4" pipe, I had to add 6-7% more fuel, and the combination of changes I made picked up over 40 ftlbs of torque, and 25 hp at the tires. I think these big inch motors need a serious exhaust.

Hey Juan, I'm using a GM Bowtie block. I was going to buy a Dart block, but I wanted to stay with a 1 piece rear seal, so it would be easier to make it work with my ZF clutch set up.
