I don't see how hydrolock can bend pushrods. Connecting rods, sure... headgasket, sure, broken rings sure, but the valves should all be shut when hydrolock occurs.
I hydrolocked my Ford with fuel (actually with SeaFoam) and toasted some compression rings.

nice! glad you found it finally.i ruled out hydrostatic lock early on cuz i thought you said you moved the crank around early on.

My ALT died on me out of town....4 min notice...everything started to dim.....then it just shut off......
Had to get towed back into town.....120 miles.....I was so cranky...then it started to rain.....I didnt even have enough juice to get the top up....had to get him to hook it up so I could get power to release the back part......I was soooooo PISSED...
But shes all better now...this was last summer....
