What do heads REALLY flow??
I've heard that some heads don't always flow what the manufacturers or magazines like CHP claim they do, out of the box?
Can anyone tell me what numbers you got when you flowed heads you bought?

You may see variations depending on the bench used-Some flow them with a pipe attatched which seems to get a better number, some don't. Maybe an expert will pipe in here. Never flowed mine out of the box;only after extensive porting:we did the flow tests using a 1-7/8 in. pipe- Mine topped out at a hair over 300 cfm. Not the heads for my L98, I might add. This would be overkill in most applications.
