code 42
I have put a new battery on my 89, and now I get a high idle (1000 rpm) and a code 42 (EST circuit or ECM)
Any ideas? Maybe the battery is a red herring.
Idle not necessarily high, but rough if I blip the throttle, had the battery out again, all the wires and connections in that area look good. Battery back, still 42.
