I've got a 1986(automatic) and a 1984(4+3) parts car and I was wondering it the 84 brake booster and master cylinder will fit on the 86 without any safety/proper fit issues. I don't want to be going down the road like thi cause i can't stop!!!
He is high on price in my opinion, but atleast he tells you what years are correct for certain parts. In this instance it looks like the booster is a one year only part. You could always sell the 84 booster in the CF parts for sale section or ebay to offset the cost of a new one.
hz900 is correct the 84 booster is a one year only part. What makes it different is the rod is adjustable and approximatly 1/4" longer in its stock position.
So if its adjustable would i be able to get it to work? or would i create a dangerous situation by changing the adjustment if it could even be moved the whole 1/4" at all?
