Hey guys, could anyone please post a picture of your LT1 engine for me. I would love to see a pic of the passenger and drivers side if you could. I am in the process of a rebuild and my digital camera decided to crap out on me. This project has proved murphys law to be true. Thanks to all who could help.
Man, keep them coming. Every picture posted has shown me where another one of my vacuum lines goes and other conections and routing the wires. Thank you all so much, and by the way those are some nice looking engines you all have. If mine looked like those I would be putting some of them up also.
high res. top view of '95 showing vacuum routing.....I took these before I did my intake manifold gaskets.....all those damn vacuum lines, easy to forget where they go after you have torn apart your top end.....
You guys have no clue how much that helped me out. All I have left is to put the starter and the radiator in and check all connections. I will then fire her up and test out the new cam. I hope to post a clip of it if someone can help me get it up. Ha Ha I said get it up
Hey MikeC4...Do you know what that wire connector is in your photo..the pic with your right fuel rail cover off...it comes out of the loom and goes to the injectots and then disappears under the water pump, I believe to the opti...mine is all guffed up and cannot find the replacement. It right in the center of your pic.
I bought a '94 vette six months ago and it's in really good shape with 62,000 miles. The distributor needed replacing, but other than that it's all stock. I would like to of course improve on the cars performance, and I was wondering what would be the best way for under $400? Would I be best to change little things for now such as spark plugs, and wires and save more money to do a big project in the future, or buy a K & N Triple Air Intake?

When I get a used car I like to go all through it and replace all things that are envolved with a good tune up. Make sure you don't need to spend that $400 on general maintenance instead of performance. The good thing about this is that you will now be on a good schedule for your maintenance issuses.
