I mounted mine underneathe the right front headlight in front of the overflow bucket. I have a 93, so the overflow may be different.

If your air pump is removed it should fit in the hole and not hit your headlight when the hood is closed..

Mine is in the floor of the left headlight well under the wiring harnesses.

The choice was made to avoid damage if the radiator catch tank boils over. And a shorter run for the main power to the battery.

I just put a 6AL in mine in the same location today. I put it in the drivers side where the headlight goes.

how about on the cross member behind the fans and in front of the water pump? I have deleted my a/c for now so the bracket is gone.

after much debate I put mine in the storage compartment behind the passenger seat..... . I didnt want to put it in there, but it fit soooooo perfectly on that first little "shelf" (bottom towards the front of car) I had to.
