Engine stumbles and dosent stay running...help
earlier last year I attempted to install my superram but failed to do so becuase of some threads that were striped so I put my TPI back on using the old gaskets which I knew were shot but did it anyways there was a small vacume leak but the car generally ran fine. this week I got back from school so I took the car for a dirve it was ok...but then it started to stumble under light acceleration but ok under hard and when in neutral it was fine. I decided to install some new gaskets and now the car has a slight stumple and in neutral but stumble constantly in drive it will also stall when idleing. I did notice that at idle it produced 13.7 volts and through the whole rpm band it stayed at 13.7-13.8 is the alternator bad/could it be causing this. Its an 87
Also last year I was having similar problems with my 1994 f-150 but it was a lot worse. and then it was the alt. when replaced it ran fine.
