Default Replacing Fuel Lines...

I'm about to replace one of my upper fuel lines and I was wondering if there was anything else I had to take off in order to replace them. Can I just unbolt where it connects to the fuel line and the fuel rail and just jimmy it out? or do I have to take off other parts too?

I just took both lines off of mine from the fuel filter up, it was one big line. REAL PITA! There is a bolt holding them onto the block. Easiest way to see it is with a flashlight and look down behind the AC pump. If you have a Helms manual, look in there and you will have a better idea of where to look.
ONLY way I could get to it...
Remove the AC Brace that goes to the manifold
Remove AIR Diverter Valve
Remove Inner fender skirt
Get the longest extension for your socket you have and use a ujoint
There is also another hose hanger you can see from underneath on the passenger side frame rail, just have to jack the car up to get to it.
If you are replacing the line, cut the rubber part, it will be easier to get out. If not, good luck getting it out in one piece.

Good luck!

Default Fuel Lines

I replaced my fuel lines twice in the last year. Remember that once you disconnect the fuel lines fuel starts to come out real quick. Have a plan for controling the fuel leakage. I wasnt too bright on that at first and ended up cleaning up alot of fuel on the ground. Especially, when I replaced the fuel filter. Im sure theres a smarter way but I thought Id give my 2 cents.

Bleed the fuel rail and remove the gas cap when you do it, it lets the pressure out of the system.

What they said, I used my oil change bucket to catch the runoff. Wasn't that much.

I didn't have to remove it, only the rear part of the bracket that goes to the exhaust manifold. But I ran new braided stainless lines which went in very easily.
