Default WOT/PE Mode using Datamaster

Hello all
How can I tell at what point Datamaster is displaying results in PE/WOT mode? While viewing one of my runs, I was expecting the field to change from Closed loop to Open loop at least at a point when my TPS was at 89 percent and the MAP was in the 93 range. Even the o2 sensors were not static. I know I'm missing something just not sure what it is.

Thank you

I use Datamaster on my 87. The O2 sensors dont go static. It doesnt just go to open loop. If you look at the A/F ratio #s you will see when its in PE. At least thats what I do. It should be programmed for richer A/F in PE mode.

IIRC the ECM does not really go "open loop", it just ignores the O2 sensor feedback. I don't use Datamaster but the way I tell is when my scan tool shows the BLM and INT locked on 128. Your labels may be different but the same should apply. My O2's are typically high 800's to low 900's at WOT.

I gotta say.. that Datamaster program is great. I was using Diacom, but
this Datamaster is soooooooooo much better in every way.
I'm trying to determine if there's a relationship to specific cells while in PE mode. So far it's cell 15.
Thanks again

Heh, Diacom was written in about 1987...never really "updated" to keep up with tuning trends and is very limited compared to even the free programs out there.

A way to tell your in PE is to watch the INT values. If they shoot to 128 than your there. BLM's can be something other than 128 in PE.

Also, at least with the version that I have (EE) there is a PE Enabled parameter in the upper right portion of the screen where the other on/off parameters are displayed. Additionally, you can assign them to just about any on/off function. BTW, my closed loop status does not change when entering PE mode.
