Default Quick question: Which distributor wrench?

I need an offset box end (12 point preferrably)... long one.

What size is the bolt head on my L98? 5/8? 9/16? metric?

9/16" , ratchet box end. and/or 14 mm for distrubutor bolt.

5/8" for heads bolts..OEM...cranes are smaller...

your question is a bit unclear..

9/16" head on the dist hold down bolt. Sears should have one...a distributor wrench that is.

Sears has the exact tool you want. It's like 9.95.

I said, "small block chevy". Geebus, then they come back with all sorts of questions about how there's different sizes depending on year, etc.

Different size motors or different size wrenches? Damn, I just get sick of that place it takes so long to get service, and then you're at the mercy of the clerk. The idiots are digging through catalogs and can't find anything... I say, it's just a sbc, who drives a chevy here? Don't tell me nobody has adjusted timing on a small block before.

Sheesh.

And sears has every size but that one. Back across town to napa to pay $22. Nuts.

Why is everything so difficult lately. Maybe I'll get lucky and pass a kidney stone too.

Then some fat mexican chick in the back seat of a little ****box import says, "I like your truck, why are you driving around in mexicanized truck?"

It's a 100% stock F150. Dumb ho. Best i could come up with was "To impress fat ugly mexican chicks riding around in ****ty chinese cars."

I kept my mouth shut though. Didn't want some slobby spit on my new clean truck, and didn't have anything to throw at her if she did, except for the $20 wrench.

They had a spot on the rack for it, thats all. The napa one is stamped "napa" and "made in usa".

It also comes with rectal lube.

Here's one that's admittedly low tech, but it works well

Let's say I did that then took it back to sears to get a new one. Think they'd go for it?

Well, I set base timing to 9*, I'll fillerup with 91 octane, and kill some rustangs.

Cut back, indexed plugs also.

I wonder why it's stumbling at idle right after letting off the gas.
