A/C Control Conversion?
Is it possible to convert the computer controlled a/c to the manual one? I am only interested if it is not a HUGE job. Mine is not operating properly. You know, blowing where you don't want it to and non responsive... The computer checks out fine. I am not looking forward to digging in to get to the vacuum control board on the firewall...

It can be done. But you will spend more money to convert it than to fix what you have. By huge think you are asking about time as well. I am not sure but you can plan on removing most of the dash to change out the needed parts. This job is more than replacing the control head. Good luck.
