slow windows after outer door seal install
Now the window moves slower and won't go all the way up unless the door is open. I understand that the new seal will create more drag because it's new and will eventually break in and likely be easier on the window motor a bit later. Do you think the bump stop should be loosened up a bit to help free this up, or is it a matter of just waiting for it to break in? Thanks for any advice. I've never done this before.
PS- It's ok, but the fit of the Mid America seal does not seem to be as tight against the door as the original GM. There is a little gap between the top of the door and the bottom of the seal. Anyone else find this to be true of the aftermarket stripping?

Take your door panel off and adjust the felt pads again.
It sounds like your window is pushing into the rubber on the b-pillar. Push the rear felt pad outward, and give it some more slack in front. You can also adjust the window so it goes up a little forward of the b pillar, and straightens out when it hits the limit stop.
One of mine does this now. It doesn't touch the b pillar when its part way up.
