The book seems wrong on this so I'm looking for a little experience, please.
I need to replace the fan motor which necessitates removal of the aux (right) fan assembly. The service manual says to just remove the top right bolt and then from underneath remove the remaining 3. Then remove the assembly. Having removed the bolts and with the fan loose I find it impossible to drop out. Things in the way are the AC drier and radiator frame supports.
Am I missing something? Any help appreciated........Thanks, Frank
TTT-Anybody done this removal? Am I missing something obvious? Could it be that it actually comes out the top way and I'm miss reading? -------Thanks, Frank

Thanks anyway. I finished up yesterday. For future reference I'll say that it is necessary to loosen the dryer bracket and lift it and the attached dryer up and away as far as your hoses will allow. This will then give the needed clearance for the assembly to drop out, with a little nudge. Replacing the motor was pretty much straight forward. CYa, Frank
