Default SYS codes

Our 91 vert is throwing a SYS code, when we check to see what it is, the codes come back as C25, H25, and H32.

The C25 and H25 are CCM and the H32 is a ECM.

Can anyone tell us what they mean as our books don't give us the information.

My book doesn't show alpha-numeric codes. It sounds like you need a Factory Service Manual for your car. The correct book will also have trouble shooting charts so you don't replace good parts just because the code says it originated there.

RACE ON!!!

Code #25: Manifold Air Temperature Circuit Low
Code #32: EGR System Failure.

The "H" codes are stored history codes.

As CFI-EFI mentioned, you'll need a service manual to diagnose the current codes.

Thanks, we had a little accident with it at CI and the door ajar switch started shorting out and we had to remove that switch and also the fuse for the courtsey lights as they kept flashing on and off. So we didn't know if removing the fuse had something to do with it or not.

CCM code 25 is Courtesy Lamp Relay Coil Circuit Open or Shorted to Ground

The Courtesy Lamp Relay Coil circuit is completed by the CCM when it receives a courtesy lamps on request from the door ajar switches and hatch ajar switch.

The CCM monitors the voltage at the primary coil of the Courtesy Lamp Relay. Code 25 will set if the proper voltage is not there. Twelve volts should be there when the Courtesy Lamps are not on. Zero volts when the Courtesy Lamps are on.

If you removed the LCD fuse, it most likely caused Code 25 to set.

Thanks,

I took the Vette into the local Chevy dealership and you guys told me more than what they did as they weren't sure what the codes were.
