Tach not working
I have a 90 L98 with accell ignition. I read where you needed to remove Tach filter so I did and it does not do any better before or after. Before I removed the Tach filter when I started the engine the needle would jump all the way up to the top and immediately go back down to below zero and now it is still doing this even after removing Tach filter. I did conect the two wires togeather that ran to filter.

Did you test the tach before removing the filter? If you didn't then you might not have even needed to remove it in the first place. Other than that, check connections... I had to do the same thing when I put an MSD coil/rotor in mine, removed tach filter and it works like a charm now.
