Wiring daigram for 85?
I need to find a wiring diagram for an 85 engine harness. And if possible the same for an 86. What I would like to do is repin a Painless wiring harness for an 86 to an 85. They don't offer one for an 85 and I can't find one anywhere. And no, I do not want to upgrade to an 86 computer. I have already paid to have a chip burned before I found out that a harness wasn't available.

The Haynes manual should have the full wiring diagrams in the back of it.
I've never used a Painless Wiring Harness so I'm not sure if they stick to
GM spec colors for those years or not..
What happened to your stock wiring harnes?
I'm waiting for my ECM to fry so I can switch to the '165 ECM that I've been hoarding for over a year now..

If you haven't already bought the painless harness, I have a complete 1985 F body harness (should be the same for a 'Vette), no plugs cut, bulkhead connector in tact. The only thing I have noticed with it is that some of the wires have the insulation shrunk back from the connectors. This can be fixed easily by removing the pin from the connector and putting heatshrink on the wires.
