Default wrong belts

What's up with the serpentine belts? I tried to find a replacement, but the part stores either don't have one listed for a 92 lt1 or it is a different belt. none of them have seen a serpentine with ribs on both sides for my application.

I think it's a pretty easy process to adapt these for the later style belts but I'm not sure of what it takes. Someone will chime in, this has been mentioned on here in the past. Check your pulleys on the tensioner and the idler while the belts off. They should be smooth, quiet and have no play in them or noticeable wear on the belt surface.

For my '92, I just purchased the parts to change mine to the later belt with grooves on one side.
I got the power steering pump pully, the tensioner with the pulley, the idler pulley, and a new GM belt for a '94 Corvette from Jason at Sam Taylor (877-726-8295) for $122 shipped. Now, I can buy belts at any auto store when I need one.
