i posted this over in tech, not paying attention. i like tools and i also like tools that make the work easier. (get older). what do you all think. think this is the one to have? it is pricey but not a biggy if it is top of line.

did an advanced search and found all kinds of info. tech II is the way to go. i should have did this first before i made this thread. my bad...i'll go stand in the corner

That thing looks expensive. If you are going to spend that much get the TECH2. I have one and love it, there isn't a better GM scan tool on the market. If there was all the GM dealers would be using it.

how does the average person go about buying a Tech1/Tech2 from vetronix? I was told by their support line that only dealers can buy them, is there a special "GM version" Tech2? Is ebay the only way to go?
