Fuel filter replacement on 87 roadster
Is it necessary to remove the frame cross brace on an 87 roadster to replace the fuel filter? If not how do you suggest I get to the filter?

the fuel filter is mounted on the inside frame rail, passengers side, near the engine.
It's a bitch, or, more accurately, can be a bitch.
You will need to remove the bracket and the 2 lines. I suggest removing the fuel pump fuse, running the engine as much as it will, and remove the cap to remove pressure from the lines.
Be careful... gas, as a liquid, burns.
