86 side markers not working?

86 side markers not working?
i changed out all the 1156 bulbs and the 194 bulbs too. cleaned all the contacts for the bulbs and sockets. still nothing except the front pass side came on when i had the headlights on and the right turn signal on. the little front yellow and little red rear side turn signal markers are working fine. but the longer clear one next to them are giveing the trouble? whe should they be coming on, just with the headlights and when you use the turn signals right?
whats next check the grounds? turn signal relay?

Check the wiring and (again) the contacts at those sockets.
I had problems a few years ago which I finally traced to wires that had been spliced (not soldered) and taped. Over time the unprotected wrapped wires had oxidized and were giving intermittent contact.

The white lamps in the side marker housing should come on when the turn signals are on but only when the parking or headlamps are on. The clear lights in the back housings illuminate when reverse gear is selected.

o.k. that makes more sense, so i'll turn the headlights on and hit the turn signals and see what happens.
weird but i found a burnt 10amp fuse in the tail slot of the fuse block. so i put in a new one, turned the key in the on postion to see whats working now, and i noticed both turn signal indicator in the dash were on and stayed on, and the blue hi beam indicator stayed on to?????????? now what????
