Tonight I ran my best ET...10.44@133.45 up here with a 1.53/60. DA was 5600 ft which is about as good as it gets for us. Those numbers sealevel correct to 9.87@141.15.

Congratulations, Jim. At least this funky weather is good for something. They didn't have to plow the track before you ran? I know there was snow, nearby in Tooele. You are right about the DA. It will be a long time before you see it lower than that on a racable day.

RACE ON!!!

That's one fast car Jim and you'll probably squeeze a little more outa your 60s with the 4 link.

Sounds like 5000 ft is the Utah equivalent of -1000 at etown....LOL!!!

That was with nitrous. It takes nos to run those numbers in our thin air.

Real nice runs. you have a very very low 10s in her if you get the 60' times down.

You leaving on the juice too, or hitting it after your moving?

These runs were leaving on the bottle. I am still sorting out the new 4 link/coilover set up. I know I need softer rear springs. Hopefully I can get my 60's in the 1.4's, which would help the et's somemore. Our track doesn't have the best prep work, which doesn't help things either.

Especially on a 50*-60*, test and tune day. Show up for a Saturday meet, if you want better bite. A Summit Friday night would be your next best shot at traction.

RACE ON!!!

What spring are you using for the back? I plan on using 150s in the back. the car runs good , and lets not forget its still a 6 speed car and that’s fast for a stick car. Good luck buddy I cant wait to get my car back out on the road , she’s been down for some time now.

I am running 170 lb springs on the back. I was thinking either 150 or 130lb springs.

Hey Jim, i see your setup is working. How's the car behaving down the track? At what rpm are you launching the car?

I had alot of problems with the car. I finally got my 9" stuff last week. But i'm still missing the 4-link bars. I'm planning to start my project as soon as got my cog belt setup figured out.

Any ways Jim, keep us posted.....
