Hey guys,
There is a pronounced clicking sound coming from around the cats under my car. It only starts to click under hard acceleration/subsequent braking. Once it starts it will not go away until the engine has cooled again. Any ideas? If I push in the clutch the clicking goes away, but as soon as the clutch is out it starts clicking again. The clicking however, does not seem to be a part of the drivetrain as no change in performance is noted while clicking, it's just annoying (and a little embarrassing, it's LOUD). Please help!

Reason: Might want to know what my car is...
almost sounds like the throw out bearing in the tranny. when the clutch is in no noise then when you let it out you hear it again. thats what my truck did . i replaced the throw out bearing and was good to go.
