Question for McLeod street twin users
Guys, I am having a problem with my street twin where I am burning the discs, in my opinion, WAY too easily in normal traffic situations. I usually launch around 1500 rpm. If it is not perfect (trying for a smooth takeoff), I always get that clutch burning odor. It definately happens everytime when I have to start from an incline. I'm not the kind of driver that slips the hell out of the clutch so I am worried something is not right and I will have a ruined, expensive clutch soon. I checked the clearances between the discs and the floater when I installed it and they were within spec.
