The header fitment won't be an issue with the A4 tranny - it'll be the catalytic converter placement. On a ZF6 equiped car, it's a non-issue. However, on the A4s it's a much tighter squeeze under there around the tranny, so some custom bending is almost a given.
TPIS and EM both make extremely high quality headers, though, with EM probably having a slight advantage (from what I've read) in terms of number of people who have them.
