Default check eng, code 24

got a new code today 24? VSS from what the book said. would driving with out the digital dash hooked up run that code? were is the VSS?

Your book should be able to tell you alot more than its the VSS.
Vehicle Speed Sensor, it's in the tail of the tranny. Not sure if the dash out would throw the code but the info from my manual does tell you what to check

driving without the digital dash sets that code. The instrument cluster provides the ground for the VSS, if I remember correctly. I drove for 2 weeks w/out the cluster and it would intermittently set that code.
