I am going to have to replace the Y-pipe and mufflers on my 1988 coupe. I would like to know if anyone has information on the KBD targa mufflers. Ecklers has them for 159.00 for a pair. They carry a 3 year warranty sometime sound to good to be true. Just looking for inputs, I don't want to spend alot of money on the exhaust.
Thanks

I really liked the KBD targa mufflers when I had my other '90. However, I opted for the stainless steel KBD's, which are a different animal. I believe they were about $300 for the mufflers + elbow pipes, but that was about 2 1/2 years ago. The stainless will be MUCH better than the non-stainless version. The look and sound was classic

Got the 3", from Ecklers about 8 months ago for $159.00, on an '87. Real low tone, sound good. I think the 3" are now $199.00. MidAmerica has the KBDs too. Might want to check their price.
