Default Help determining dynamic compression ratio...

EDIT: I figured it out, I was using the 0.050 closing point which is obviously incorrect to determine Dynamic copression point.
The recommended DCR varies with who you talk to but in the low to mid 8's appears to be what I found.
The DCR calculator I was referring to can be found here:

Thank you everybody!

Hello,
I was wondering someone here could run my dynamic compression ratio and see what they get. I just don't know for sure if I know what I am doing and if I am doing it right at all.

Also, there was a site posted that supposedly had a good calculator which also recommended what a good dynamic compression ratio for pump gas would be. If anyone knows the ratio and/or the website, please post that up.

The motor:
383 --350 bored 0.030 over (4.030 bore if I am correct)

64 cc heads

LPE 213 camshaft (also known as a Blue Racer 290-2h)
---cam card here: http://www.cranecams.com/?show=brows...73&lvl=2&prt=5

5.7" Rods

3.75" 400 crank

Piston-deck clearance is 0.012"

Dished hyper pistons with a 12 cc Dish

Head gasket size is in flex to try to get the best dynamic compression ratio

I think thats everything...thanks!

Edit: If you must have a head gasket thickness, I would say around 0.025, to yield a 0.037 quench, however I think this might be too high of a dynamic compression, I cannot remember for sure what is recommended however...

This is just a bump to get some more coverage for that little piece of software...... I didn't write it but I do have it and it's very neat. It's software that should definitely be part of your toolbox.
