Default An Update ! ............

I had posted this a while back ,like in May .......anyway , I was having a problem with major stumbling , breaking up at 2400 rpm after cruising for a while. It turned out to be the distributor ! I had replaced it with a new one ( Accel ) about a year and a half ago and for some reason , it wasn't compatible . I put the stock distributor back in and solved the problem .I contacted the manufacturer , Accel ,who didn't know why ! I think it was the way the pickup coil was wired , the wires coming out of the coil were opposite of the the stock pickup coil , but connected the same way to the module . I am going to get another pickup coil wired like the stock one and replace the Accel pickup coil and give that distributor another try !..........

87vette ....406ci .......all the good stuff !

My first experiences w/ Accel products over a quarter of a century ago were not impressive. I've seen little since then that would change that opinion.
