Default Paint gurus, question

Anyone know how much paint the coupe (glass top) takes to cover? I'm thinking about doing a blue black pearl paint job on my '94 and need to know about how much to buy. This will be sprayed with an HVLP gun and the paint is a 2:1 reduction (2 parts paint, 1 part reducer). Thanks for any insight.

BTW, this color is from House of Kolor - Midnite Blue Black Pearl. Very pretty and what I've always wanted a Vette painted but never knew the color.

not much...

Figure about 3/4 gallon for the whole car (assuming a glass top), add activator to that and mix about a gallon total.

Add another gallon of clearcoat- so that's a gallon base coat mix, and a gallon clear coat.
(I'm getting my vette painted on the 30th this is how I know)

Oh and a friend of mine is getting his custom truck painted that color, it is really awesome, you'll be happy with it methinks

I have painted a couple C4's, and thats about right. It really depends on how much paint/clear you want on the car. If you buy a gallon you'll have a little left over, if you buy 3/4 gallon you will be just about right if you are good with a gun and don't waste alot on overspraying everything else, but it would really suck to run out in the middle of painting, I always try to error on the safe side when ordering paint.
