Thanks to everyone in the forum bout telling me about the lbrackets. went to sears hardware and bought 4 l brackets and olded them over and slide them on the door and pulled the door panel over them and they are tight as a virgin. no more rattles.. thank you everyone!!!
We use some modified brackets to effectively extend the little rails atop the door panel. Usually it seems that this is enough to hold the door panel snugly.
if you go buy a 1 x 1 and a 1/2 inch L shape bracket and use a pair of channel locks and fold it over to make it look like a U then squeeze it alittle tighter. pull the top of the door panel away from the door and then slide the u shape bracket onto the steel lip then lift the door panel over the U and it will lock the panel in its plae and no more loose door panels in another thread someone post great pics and how to do instructions. it works great and takes only 10 minutes to do and about 4.00 in brackets. i will try to find the other thread
