92 with no cats
I had a friend that bought C4 in Europe but was originaly purchased in the US.
This car has the plate saying NON CATALYST.
Does someone has an idea how a 92 can be delivered and pass an emission test with a car with no cats?

yea... export cars that went to certian nations were made with no cats. this was mainly due to lead content in the gas. lead and cats are bad.
the computer might be recalibrated...
to answer your question, there were no emissions to pass.

I know many middle eastern nations don't have any form of emissions. so they don't get cats.
I do know, and this is a far fetched excuse at best, that government agencies and such can still buy trucks without cats. This is so fire dept can get emergency and rescue rigs that don't start brush fires!!!
But I can't imagine why anyone would order a Vette this way!!!
