Belt Wear
91 L98. I had to replace the serpentine belt about 10,000 miles ago. It had frayed on the rear (engine) side and cut the wires to the engine compartment lights. I firgured it was just old age but the new belt is fraying just like the original. It has to be one of the pulleys twisting due to shaft or bearing wear. Has anyone ran into this and if so what was the fix?
