Long story short, had a problem, unplugged MAF, bought new MAF, problem remained, went to mechanic, referred to dealer, went to corvette specialist (Javiers Corvette).
Was told it was bad ECM, On way home check engine light was flickering very (i mean very) fast. Stopped car (turned off) then put key to ignition position and the check engine light is flickering fast without the car even on?
Is this a relearn period or something, What do you think it is. I'm going to take it back but I wanted advise. Thanks
Sounds like the ECM is bad, its most likely a reman unit and its not uncommon to get a bad one. Especially if this problem wasn't there before. Ask they mechanic to reinstall the original ECM to see if the problem reoccurs.
Bad ECM or pins A&B to the ALDL are shorted together somehow.
With engine off and key on, is the fan running? If so you have those 2 wires shorted somewhere along the line.

My fan runs when the key is on. I don't believe that the ALDL is shorted with anything. ???

If your fan runs as soon as the key is turned on you are either in "limp home" mode from the get go or there is a short somewhere.
Now, if your fan runs all the time AND the check eng light flashes when the engine is running, the ALDL is shorted A to B (this is a field service test procedure)
