Been offered a set of new LS1 injectors for a good price.
Are they compatible, (fit / ohms ) with a L98?
What is the lb @ what psi?
Even if they are same as stock , will be better than my 100K+ stock ones
Ok, here is how I understand it. You need to get TJWong in here to really clarify, but here is how I remember.
At our stock fuel pressure, they act like 25lb/hr injectors.
However you will need to etch the groove around for the locking clip as they don't have them on them.
To LS1s at whatever pressure they run at, they are actually 28lb/hr. So yes they will work, in fact you won't even NEED to do the clips, but thats just dumb not to.
Not sure if you need a new chip, but it wouldn't hurt.
And SLP was selling them for 99$ as pull offs from LS1 crates.
Thanks , that what I needed.
Am just finishing upgrade with ZZ4 cam and ported TPI so should be able to handle a little more fuel.
I don't know how they would hold with out the clips as last time I had mine out I missed locking one clip in and fuel went everywhere.
The fuel rail does not compress the injectors enough to lock them in so they push out to leaking point under pressure.
I installed some SLP pulls (I think they are 25lb/hr LS1 pulls) on my L98 and did cut the C-clip grooves a little higher on the body to get the injector to seat better into the intake base. An option would have been to grind down the fuel rail posts to allow the rail to sit a little lower on the intake base.
I strongly suggest that you install an AFPR so that you can trim fuel flow to match your engine setup.
They will work fine on your L98. At 3 bars (43.5 PSI) they will be right around 25 lbs/hr, at their rated 4 bar (55+ PSI) they are at 28 lbs/hr. These are good injectors by Bosch and should work and perform well in your car. As another member suggested, it would be a good idea to get an adjustable regulator to "tweak" it a bit. Otherwise the other alternative is to go with a custom chip to optimize it.
I am running those injectors, I bought them from SLP. I don't have an afpr and my fuel pressure is 44 without vacuum. I had to set the injector constant at 24# because it was lean. Now it runs good.

Is there any difference between LS1 and LS6 injectors? I've heard the LS6 injectore are rated at 28.6 lbs. at the 58 psi fuel pressure the LS6 runs at.

No difference in flow, the LS1's SLP was selling are 28# @ 58 psi also.
Just installed them on my engine and they work great. i did machine down the fuel rail mounting bosses a little to get them to sit in the manifold bores better. But I also installed a set a year ago in a 91 Formula without machining and they are working fine as well. Bye, Bye multec's.

I used to run the LS6 28.8 lbs @ 58.4 psi injectors. They were the ones that went in the 405HP Z06. My research said that at least the earlier LS1 injectors where 26 lbs
A couple years ago (edit: probably more like three) I snagged a set of fresh Bosch 0280155890 injectors off Ebay for $100. Supposedly, these were the ones used in the Z06 (I'd bet the 385hp version).
At that time (I'm looking at the original print of Five-O motorsports page) they claim 29.4lb/hr@50psi.
Originally, I thought these injectors would make a good match for my engine setup and wet nitrous kit. The injector flow at rated fuel pressure matched up nicely with my nitrous fuel jetting.
I never installed them since my LT4 Multec injectors (28lb/hr@43psi) netted perfect nitrous A/F's at my current 50psi fuel pressure. The PCM can't accurately predict fuel mileage at this pressure but the whole system seems to like it.
