Default Plug wires

Need to purchase a set of plug wires, AC Delco is 65$CDN. Is there or what is there out there that might be a little more money but a lot better performance? (if I had a job I wouldn't worry so much about the cost ) The car IS a garage queen and dosen't see a lot of miles, but when I do take it out I tend try to have fun with it, track days! So any new wires will die a slow death of old age!!!!

An 88 L98!

Thanks for the offer but you must have missed the part about not having a job! I had seen the thread in the parts 4sale but I just can't justify the expense! again!

I just got a set of Autolite pro fits. I was expecting 7mm generic wires, but they're spiral core 8.5mm and have a lifetime warranty. At 35 bucks for the set, its a pretty good deal. BTW, they feel the same as my MSD wires I had before when one of them wasn't burnt out and my Taylor wires I had before that.

Got my LT1 wires at Summit Racing. They will be more costly that the Delco wires (around $79 USD) but they are an excellent high performance wire with a very low 50 ohms/ft resistance.

www.summitracing.com. They will ship to Canada.

I phoned four distributors this morning they will all ship to Canada but then they all charge brokerage fees starting at about 35$US. So my dilemma is to find a distributor that will MAIL it to me via USPS and the Canadian post office charges me 5$CDN or a Canadian distributor and see what there prices are. The best price this morning was 71$US!
