My 92 corvette left me stranded.. again. It started up fine for about 3 seconds and quit. Then when I tryed to turn the key and give it some gas it didn't turn over at all. The starter is turning fine and the battery is charged, so the problem isn't electrical. Its either not getting gas or spark. I have no idea what this could be and would appreciate any helpful advice.
I am no expert on this stuff. But here is my 2 cents.
The only time I had a problem with my C4 with turning the key and having nothing at all happen, was when I had a key with a worn VATS chip. I got a new key and everything was A OK.
Now with respect to your situation, sounds like you were able to start the car but it quit after a few seconds of idling. I would check the obvious, like fuel pressure if you think it is not electrical. Fuel filter or pressure regulator.
