Clutch Force??
I have a 93 Vette with about 46K miles. This is my first ZF-6 and I'm not sure how stiff the clutch should feel. I've had some resistance putting it into gear (mainly from a stop) and as such, I replaced the master and slave and pressure bled the system. I've also taken the car to two vette shops. One shop said the clutch is not releasing all the way. He thought the pressuree plate fingers might be bent. The other said about the same thing; my clutch is probably the problem because it is so stiff. Any thoughts?? Does anyone know about how many pounds of pedal pressure it takes to dissengage a 93 clutch?

My 94 with 104K takes a lot of effort to push the clutch pedal all the way down but I have no problems getting it into gear. I don't know if that's related.
Try ZF Doc at http://www.zfdoc.com and see if they can help. A lot of people on here have said the ZF is very specialized and you have to really know what you are doing to work on it.
